Event Details

Don't miss the opportunity to sample up four to twelve of the Lowcountry's finest restaurants.  Three tours remain in Avondale, East Bay and Market Street and Park Circle.   Pick one,two or all three of our fabulous tours and enjoy an evening of delicious local food, wine pairings from Gallo or beer pairings from New Belgium and a specialty cocktail from American Harvest Organic Spirit plus lots of fun people!  Learn first hand from our Chef's how the food is prepared and what local ingredients they are using and find out details about the pairings and why the different flavors go well together.  These tickets are extremely limited (30 per tour) and sell out every year!!


* BE SURE TO BE ON TIME FOR THE FIRST COURSE, AS THE TOUR WILL LEAVE FOR THE NEXT LOCATION AT PROMPTLY 5:55PM.

 

Park Circle Tour (Wine Tour): Wednesday, 9/7

5:30-6pm: 1st Course, Cork Neighborhood Bistro -Low country Shrimp N Grits Sushi Roll: Local Shrimp with South Carolina Stone Ground Grits with Wasabi, Fresh Tomato, Cucumber & Scallions Wrapped in a Collard Green Wrapper


6-6:30pm: 2nd Course, EVO Pizzeria -
House pulled mozzarella filled with ricotta. Served with sliced heirloom tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, raspberry vinaigrette and toasted house-made focaccia bread.


6:30-7pm: 3rd Course, Zocalo -
Braised cabrito  tamale with a sauce reduction


7-7:30pm: 4th Course, The Barbeque Joint - Homemade Peach Cobbler al a mode

Carolina Green Fair



Carolina Green Fair is celebrating it's fifth year in Charleston.  Charleston Green Fair in Marion Square Park hosts thousands of attendees eager to learn more about green practices, products and services in our community.  In addition to our main event, we also our launching our first annual Carolina Dirt Fair in Johns Island.  Dirt Fair will celebrate local local agriculture and the fine food of the south.  Our goal continues to be providing education and enlightenment to the residents of the South Carolina while promoting the local green businesses in South Carolina.

The purpose of the Charleston Green Fair is to create excitement and enthusiasm for green products, services and technologies available to the residents of the Lowcountry using an environmentally responsible forum of education and entertainment.
